Miss Laura

Hello, my name is Laura Lindsay and I am an instructor here at TTRC. I started riding horses when i was six years old and my first lessons were in English riding progressing to show jumping. The pressure of competing drew me to riding Western a few years later and I have been riding Western ever since. I have two horses of my own, a Rocky Mountain Trail horse named Zeus who I trail ride and a quarter horse named Smoke who I have competed in Cutting on.

I used to volunteer for another therapeutic riding center in the LA area so when I moved to Riverside and saw the TTRC sign I came home and looked them up online. I've worked for Cal Fire for 7 seasons so in my off season I left an application in their mailbox and have been working here since January! I have been leading horses, side walking, instructing, schooling horses, doing maintenance and trailering to shows and even competing. I have loved everyday that I have worked here giving kids horse skills and life skills. Stephanie is the first facility owner I know of that uses rescue horses. At TTRC it is just as much about the horses as it is the kids and it shows.
