All About Me

Hello my friends! I’m Ladybug an American Quarter horse mare born in 2002. I joined the TTRC team in 2016 and love all the kiddos! I get to teach so many riding skills to. I am the best trained horse on the ranch so of course I am picked more than the others for lessons.

Before coming to TTRC I was with my family as a trail horse. Unfortunately, I was diagnosed with navicular disease and couldn’t do the hilly trails my family went on. Coming to TTRC I had a long time of rehab with an amazing farrier who helped get me sound. Along with lots of physical therapy and great therapeutic shoeing I am happy and sound with the best job ever!

I'm not a fan of the other horses and make sure they stay away from my rider and I. Usually; it only takes a little flick of my ears to be sure they know to keep their distance! No matter which student I am working with they always have a great time and learn how to be a better rider no matter how long it takes.

I meet my students where they are at. I love sharing my reining skills and feeling how it excites my riders. Walk trot canter I am always ready to focus on my job and am so thankful I am sound and able to make lives better. Second chances are possible and I am proof of that!
