Hi, I’m Casper, a Missouri Fox Trotter gelding born in 2000. I joined the TTRC family in 2017 and have been loving my new job working with students in so many ways!

Before coming to TTRC I was with my beautiful family as a trail horse. Unfortunately, my family struggled with many life challenges including fighting cancer and didn’t have the time to take me out anymore.

I love trail rides, a good grooming and butterscotch treats!! Thankfully my family knew of an amazing therapeutic riding center that could use my talents, personality and charm. I was so excited to be back on the trail with so many new friends.

I can be the best first friend anyone could find. I love you how you are and enjoy making my new friends laugh with my silliness. My family first got me from a ranch that said I was unruly! Now my talents shine as I give my students a friend who listens as they practice their speech or working on core strength and center of balance while getting out of a wheelchair.

My students enjoy just getting away to relax and enjoy life for a moment. Life can get so busy and difficult for the humans these days. Nothing a good trail ride doesn’t help with.

I am so thankful to be part of TTRC changing lives for the better every day. Now my students and I are seen for our talents and not just our challenges. Come by the ranch and say hi! I love many new friends!
